The femara leaves me exhausted. At least this cycle. I realize I’m perpetually tired, but this is different. There isn’t enough coffee in the world to keep me awake! But yet, I have to work anyway. Such is life.

On an unrelated note, how about the layout of the site? I’ve played around with the sidebar widgets and I think I have it set up how I like, but I was wondering what others thought? I can’t customize the look of the theme unless I upgrade with wordpress.com. Right now I’m just using what they freely offer. I can play around with the sidebar though. Also, I love some of the dashboard functionality that comes with a wordpress.com blog. One of my favorites is the blog statistics I can access through the dashboard. We use webalizer for our other blog, and I don’t like that nearly as well as this.

Anyway, not much to update today. I’m too tired to write in depth on anything.

  1. Hey there, sorry to hear you’re feeling so tired. I think I know what you mean. I’m never certain whether it’s the drugs making me tired. It’s more like I don’t have the energy to compartmentalize my sadness and frustration away when I am at work. Some days it’s so much more difficult than others.
I’m hoping for the best for you. If you ever feel like chatting, drop me an email 8) PS. I think your blog looks lovely. I have been putting off working on my sidebar, but I’m hoping to get links up, etc over the holidays.
    Best wishes on your cycle!

  2. thankfully today is the last day I have to take it. So hopefully I’ll be back to normal soon. I’m taking it in the evenings though, so I’ll probably still be tired tomorrow. At least I don’t have the headache I had yesterday. *knocks on wood before it comes back*

  3. Sorry you are so tired. It’s tough when your body is dragging you down.

The site looks great! I love the brown and green. After I saw it, I told Stephen we might have to change but he said no because he can’t handle the flowers at the top. Not manly enough I guess.

  4. I don’t think Rick would like the flowers on ours either. 🙂 Out of all the themes I looked at for this site, this was definitely my favorite. Girly, but not too girly, or something.

  5. Yeah, I wouldn’t have gone for this scheme.

Also, dealing with a sick me for the last few days can’t really be helping your energy levels. I hate sinuses…. hate em, hate em, HATE THEM!

  6. The look is fine with me. It’s far more important that you like it, though, than whether or not I do. 🙂

Sorry that you’re tired. I imagine that you won’t be there tonight, so I’ll just have to come and see y’all before we all leave town. 🙂

  7. Hi. Just came across your blog. Goodluck on the Femara! I’m currently pregnant (6 1/2 months) with a Femara baby. Best wishes!

  8. Welcome Megan! It is always good to hear about successes. If you don’t mind me asking, how many cycles of femara did it take? Good luck on the remainder of your pregnancy!

  9. Sorry for not replying sooner. I was lucky, after three failed Clomid attempts, I got pregnant on the first month with Femara. I was really surprised!

  10. Thanks for coming back and responding! That’s a great success story. Here’s hoping my second round of femara will stick…

  11. My husband and I have been TTC for 16 months and I amd on my second round of Femara. My doctor wants to do a HSG this month (Monday) and I am somewhat nervous about it. We will see….we are definatly keeping our fingers crossed!! Good luck to you!
